The lab

An intelligence layer for the planet's living systems

Markets, governments and land stewards decide the fate of ecosystems with data that is scattered, delayed and hard to trust. Gaia AI is building the layer that joins it up: agents that read Earth observation, trade and waste accounts, and ecological registries, then reason across all of them with the source attached.

The work grew out of our partnership with Regen Network and field work with registries, conservation groups and grassroots projects. Overshoot, the first public instrument, is live now. The full layer is in private development.

Overshoot

Overshoot is a planetary atlas of material flows and the lab's first public instrument. It traces the oil, ores, crops and manufactured materials behind everyday life: where they are extracted, how they move, what stays in use and what becomes waste.

Every answer carries its source, and links the evidence cannot support stay marked as unknown. Researchers and agents can query the same data through open downloads and an MCP server.
